Public health tells flu/Covid vaccine clinic times

Positivity rate for Covid testing is down from last week

Greene County public health is offering “one-stop” vaccine clinics through early November. Public health staff will administer flu vaccines and/or Covid-19 vaccines at several clinics.

All three brands of Covid vaccines will be available – Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. The Covid vaccine is available for anyone who is not vaccinated, is partially vaccinated, or in need of a Pfizer booster dose. (Boosters have not yet been approved for those who earlier received the Moderna or J&J vaccines.)

The first clinic will be held Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Fall Festival at Greene County Middle School. Parents have received information about the family-friendly event.

Clinics will be held at the public health office on Level B of Greene County Medical Center (use the west Clinics entrance) as follows:

  • Tuesdays (9 am to 12 pm): Oct. 19, Oct. 26, Nov. 2
  • Thursdays (1-4 pm): Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 4

A drive-through clinic will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 7 pm at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Appointments are required for all clinics. Call 515-386-3228 or register online at FLU/COVID CLINICS (jotform.com)
