Thomas Jefferson Gardens will offer classes to create two pumpkin décor items on Tuesday, Oct. 12. Those interested may choose a morning class from 10:30 to 11:30 or an afternoon one from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.
One pumpkin is made with decorative beads on a wire frame and the other is fabric created around a roll of toilet paper. “The pumpkins are easy to make and this will be a fun way to add to your fall décor,” said Jean Walker, who will teach the class.
Space in the classes is limited. To sign up, email Jean Walker at kjwalkr@wccta.net or sign up at the Welcome Center at Thomas Jefferson Gardens from 10 am to 4 pm. A small fee will be charged to cover cost of the materials to make both pumpkins.
