Greene County magistrate court, week ending Sept. 17

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Sept. 14 against Jeremy Ernest Andrews of Jefferson on a charge of theft- third degree. The case was initiated as a charge of theft- fifth degree. Andrews must pay $30 restitution to Cobblestone Inn & Suites. He was fined $855 with a $128.25 surcharge; both were suspended. He must pay an amount not to exceed $1,000 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. The judgment was entered by district court judge Honorable Joseph B. McCarville.

Russell Lee Gardner of Panora was sentenced Sept. 17 to seven days in jail on a charge of violation of a no contact order. His is to be given credit for time served. The jail term is concurrent to sentences in three Guthrie County cases. Gardner was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $137.58. (Sentencing: Magistrate Jessica Morton)

Richard Dean Tuhn Jr of Grand Junction was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge for illegal operation of motor vehicle in stream bed. Court costs were $60. (Sentencing: Morton)

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Garrett Michael Tasler of Carroll, possession of drug paraphernalia; Destiny Ann George of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia; Timothy Glen Pittman of Lehigh, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Timothy Patrick Day of Jefferson, public intoxication.
