Members of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson will serve a drive-thru fried chicken dinner Sunday, Sept. 19, from 11 am to noon. Mashed potatoes with gravy, home-canned sweet corn, and a choice of apple crisp or Oreo cheesecake will round out the menu.
Free will donations will be accepted to benefit the family of young Avril Shahan, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia.
