The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library annual fall book sale begins Sept. 17, on a Friday afternoon for the first time. The sale, held in the library basement, will be open on Friday for Friends members only. Memberships are available now for an annual $5 charge at the circulation desk in the adult library. Patrons can become members or renew members Sept. 17.
Beginning Saturday, the sale is open to the public. It will remain open to the public until it ends Saturday, Sept. 25.
“Sign up to be a member of the Friends of the Library anytime during the sale. Both our book sale and our membership drive help raise funds that benefit all our library patrons,” a spokesperson said.
