Funeral services were held Aug. 23, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church in Gowrie for Randy Robert Lundberg, 53, of Jefferson.
The Rev Jim Davis, pastor of the church, offered words of comfort.
Casket bearers were Bob Schill, Barnabas Lundberg, Johnathan Crouse, Oscar Orfield, Mike Perry and Kenny Gustin. Interment was at the Gowrie Cemetery.
Randy Lundberg, 53, of Jefferson, passed away in his home on August 18, 2021. Randy was born in Carroll on Nov. 22, 1967 to June Orfield Lundberg Anderson and Duane Lundberg. He attended Jefferson High School, University of Iowa and DMACC.
Randy had a CDL and really enjoyed being a long-haul truck driver where he was able to see most of the United States. Randy enjoyed his life-long hobbies of tinkering and collecting. Even as a child, he loved to collect rocks. He loved spending his time gardening, learning to can with his mom, studying the local history and researching genealogy with his aunts, just to name a few. He looked forward to spending time with his family.
Randy is survived by his parents, June Anderson and Duane Lundberg; his step brothers Stacy (Megan) Anderson and Steve (Jane) Anderson; step-sister Laura (Marcus) Smoot; nine nieces and nephews; and lots of family and friends. He was predeceased in death by his stepfather Dave Anderson.
