Kole Teeples clobbered his first career home run, a grand slam. He added a pair of singles to drive in five runs. Bryce Stalder added another GC round trip to plate three runs. He also had a double, scoring two more runs. Alex Roberts singled, doubled, and had two RBIs, while Cameren Miller had two doubles and two runs batted in. Rams 6 ~ Nevada 4

Committing six errors in a baseball game doesn’t normally lead to victory, but Greene County overcame those miscues against Nevada, using a seventh-inning rally to defeat the Cubs 6-4 on the road. The Rams have a five-game winning streak going as they end the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference schedule.

Nevada led 1-0 until the Rams scored three runs in the third inning. The Cubs scored three times in the bottom of the sixth to go up 4-3. Greene County had four of its nine hits in the seventh inning, scoring three runs to regain the lead 6-4. The Rams held Nevada scoreless in the bottom of the frame for the win.

Gabe Ebersole, Riley, Justin Stream, and Stalder all singled in the seventh with Stream batting in one run and Stalder knocking in two. For the game, Riley and Teeples each had two singles and one RBI. Kinsey also had a base hit.
