The Greene County boys’ soccer team lost a match at home April 27 to Winterset, snapping a five-match winning streak. The Rams are tied for ninth in the Class 1A ratings and are 7-3 on the season.
Winterset fired two goals in the first half and three in the second to overtake the Rams 5-1. Gesser Aguilar scored the only goal for GC.
Thursday night against Kuemper Catholic, Greene County edged the Knights 1-0. A goal by Alex Roberts early in the match was the only score.
