The Greene County junior class chili supper will be served Friday, Jan. 29, with some Covid-19 guidelines. The Ram girls and boys basketball teams will host West Marshall for a Mega Night in the high school and middle gyms that evening.
The meal includes a bowl of chili, crackers, relishes, crackers, a cinnamon roll, and water.
Fans who are allowed to attend the games at the high school are welcome to eat their chili supper meal in the high school commons area. Serving times between 5 and 7 pm may be staggered to ensure social distancing for these fans. Fans are asked to sit in family groups when they eat.
While eating at the school is not open to the general public, juniors are offering curbside service. Community members can drive up to the north entrance of the school. Juniors will deliver four servings of chili and four cinnamon rolls to each vehicle. This service is also available from 5 to 7 pm.
Free-will donations will support the 2021 prom.
All proceeds from the junior class chili supper will go toward the 2021 “Golden Gala” prom. The banquet and dance will be held at the Wild Rose Event Center on April 10.
