Greene County magistrate court, week ending Sept. 25

In Greene County magistrate court disposition was entered Sept. 23 against Justin Joe Downs of Churdan on a charge of domestic abuse-assault. He was sentenced to two days in jail, consecutive to time in a Greene County felon case. He must complete the Iowa domestic abuse program at his own expense. Downs was fined $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and a $90 domestic abuse-assault surcharge. He must pay up to $300 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees.

Bradley D. Wolf of Jefferson was sentenced to 20 days in jail after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of interference with official acts. The jail term is concurrent to jail time in another Greene County case, and he is to be given credit for time served. Magistrate Jessica Morton ruled Wolf is unable to pay court costs or restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees.

Judgment was also entered against Wolf on an earlier case in which he was charged with disorderly conduct. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $117.65.

A case was initiated in magistrate court against Lori Alise Palmer of Scranton on a charge of criminal mischief- fifth degree.
