Landus slates virtual events to update harvest plans

Area farmers are invited to hear from Landus leaders on how drought and the recent derecho may impact harvest logistics at the cooperative’s grain facilities in the area.  Virtual meetings are slated beginning Wednesday, Aug. 19.

“We know getting ready for harvest is one of our farmer-owners most critical times of the year,” said Matt Carstens, president and CEO of Landus. “We’re hosting a series of quick, easy-to-join virtual meetings to keep everyone on the same page about location-specific harvest details, COVID-19 impacts, as well as share our vision for the future of your cooperative and where we’re going.”

Growers can select their location-specific meeting to discuss grain policy updates as well as news and updates from the recent storm. Approximately 30 minutes in length, growers are encouraged to be ready with questions as location and regional managers will also be on the call.

The cooperative is using GoToWebinar, a free online tool that allows participants to dial-in on their phone or login online to view location maps and visuals.
