Parents of children eligible for pre-kindergarten in the Greene County School District are invited to a parent night Monday, May 19, at 6:30 pm at the elementary school located at 401 E Russell in Jefferson.
To be eligible for the 4-year-old pre-kindergarten, children need to be 4 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2014, and live within the Greene County School District. All pre-kindergarten classes will be at the elementary school in Jefferson, as the Grand Junction building will be used for grades 4-6 only.
Parents are requested to bring their child’s birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record, and any other legal documentation that they would like the school to have on file.
Since this is a meeting where parents receive much information, it is also requested that children do not attend this meeting. Persons who would like more information can call the elementary at 515-386-3178.
