The Greene County boys golf team placed eighth of eight teams at the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference golf meet Tuesday at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City.
Nevada won the conference title with a score of 143. Cubs golfers claimed the top four medalist positions with Kyle Linder shooting 35 and Caden Jones, Dylan Sporrer and Harold Dobernecker each shooting 36.
Jadon Block led the Rams with a 51. Sawyer Schiltz shot 53, Caden Telleen shot 55, and Cody Gilbertson and Jacob Rohner each shot 60.
Team scores were Nevada 143, PM 164, Gilbert 170, North Polk 172, Roland-Story 184, Saydel 185, South Hamilton 187 an Greene County 219.
