The Community Players of Greene County will hold auditions for a production of “Death by Dessert” by Nathan Hartwick.
Auditions will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 pm and Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 pm in the Greene County High School classroom of Darren Jackson. Enter the school through the west door.
The play is a murder mystery done in the style of a dessert supper. Two competing Italian restaurants share a common wall. At the opening of the play the building owner dies and the rest of the show is spent discovering who committed murder and the perpetrator’s motive.
The script calls for 13-16 people, evenly split between male and females, with some roles that could be played by a male or female.
Anyone who wants to be involved in the production but doesn’t want to be on stage is welcome to fill backstage needs. The Players are always looking to fill out the roster of volunteers in all aspects of the productions.
Persons who want more information can contact the Players by email at cpgcia@gmail.com or contact Clay Ross or Darren Jackson.
