In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Jan. 30 against Robert R. Kovar of Jefferson on a charge of theft- fifth degree. He was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. He must also pay $300 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $2 restitution to Kum & Go. Court costs were $95.
A judgment was entered against Freedom Hope Ore of Grand Junction on a charge of assault- simple, amended from a charge of assault causing bodily injury initiated in district court. Ore was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60.
A judgment was entered against Craig Darwin Presley of Jefferson on a charge of public intoxicated- first offense, amended from a charge of public intoxication- second offence initiated in district court. He was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $60.
A case was initiated in magistrate court against Rodney James Blackmon of Grand Junction on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
