APE to host cat clinics; carpools available from Greene County

Animal Protection and Education (APE) of Paton will host altering clinics for cats Friday, Nov. 15, in Newton; Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Winterset; and Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Redfield. Carpooling from Greene County will be available.

Cost is $70 for females and $55 for males. Discounted rates of $50 for females and $40 for males are available for those who are altering three or more free-roaming cats or are sponsoring a wild cat. The service includes surgery, rabies and distemper shots, a microchip ID, and Revolution (topical treatment for fleas, ear mites, roundworms and hookworms).
