Caregiving can be a balancing act, especially if you’re employed or are a caregiver to your spouse and have other responsibilities or health problems of your own. You can’t do it all alone. And you don’t have to.
To help you with your mission of care, Elderbridge Agency on Aging invites you to attend one of a series dinners in your area that is targeted for family caregivers.
The meal is free and there will be no sales pitches. A special speaker will give an informative introduction during dinner followed a brief overview of the Elderbridge programs and services that can assist you on a daily basis.
Pre-registration is required for the meal by calling 800-243-0678. Ask to register for the specific Caregiver Dinner listed below that you plan to attend. Meals will be limited to the first 50 callers. Non-registered attendees are also welcome to attend and to take part in the discussion following the meal.
- Tuesday, April 25 — Guthrie Center, Guthrie Activity Center, 209 State Street, 6 p.m. pizza and salad
- Thursday, May 18 — Jefferson, Wild Rose Casino, 777 Wild Rose Road, 6 p.m. buffet dinner
Elderbridge Family Caregiver Specialists share knowledge and experience to connect you with the help you need. They will listen to your request or problem, answer questions, give choices of service providers in your area and make referrals if you wish. Information about financial assistance and benefits to fund the services you need will be available.
