On Monday, Feb. 6, Greene County High School will host the IHSMA state jazz choir festival in the auditorium. The schools and times are as follows:
Class 1A

- 5:40 Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto
Class 2A
- 6:20 Carroll Kuemper
Class 3A
- 7:10 Adel-DeSoto-Minburn 1
- 7:50 Perry
- 8:30 Adel-DeSoto-Minburn 2
- 9:10 Greene County
The audience is welcome to watch some or all of the groups, but especially Greene County at 9:10. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for students.
The Greene County music department will have a winter Pops Concert Thursday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 pm. The band and both choirs will perform music around the theme of “At the Movies”, and the jazz choir will perform its contest set. The concert will take place in the auditorium and there is no charge.
