QuickBooks topic of info sessions hosted by Chamber

QuickBooks®, Intuit’s highly rated small business accounting software, is the topic of socialnars Thursday, Nov. 10.

The Greene County Chamber of Commerce invites all area business owners, entrepreneurs, direct sales consultants and anyone interested in learning more about QuickBooks to “A Quick Look at QuickBooks”.

Two sessions will be offered – a ‘lunch and learn’ from 11:30 to 1 pm (bring lunch; beverages provided), or a ‘working happy hour’ from 5:15 to 6:30 pm (beverages and light snacks provided).

Presenter will be Kimberly Tiefenthaler of the North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center in Fort Dodge. She will provide an overview of QuickBooks to help attendees determine if it’s the right software for them; discuss how to get started with QuickBooks; and share Help resources.

The socialnars are hosted by the Chamber’s business improvement committee. There is no charge for Chamber members; non-members are welcome at a $15 fee per person. Reservations are requested by Nov. 8 for planning purposes. Call the Chamber at 515-386-2155 or email sheilah@greenecountyiowa.com

“We’re excited to partner with the expert staff at the Small Business Development Center to provide relevant programs for our members and other business owners,” said Tori Riley, chair of the Chamber’s business improvement committee. She invites anyone with needs or suggestions for future socialnars to call the Chamber office.

Intuit QuickBooks is a commercial product. This program is informational only – no selling of the product will be done.
