In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Sept. 25 against James Harold Doran of Paton. Doran was charged in district court with assault causing bodily injury. The charge was amended to disorderly conduct and magistrate David Morain entered a judgment for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge. Court costs were $249.66. A companion case in which Doran was charged with disorderly conduct in magistrate court was dismissed.
A judgment was entered against Jamie Lee Godwin of Jefferson on a charge of theft- fifth degree. Godwin as fined 465 with a $22.75 state surcharge and a $5 county enforcement surcharge. Court costs were $103.
