Rams fall to S. Hamilton in v’ball

The Greene County Ram varsity volleyball team lost in four games to South Hamilton in the Middle School gym Sept. 8. Game scores were 25-21, 17-25, 15-25, 21-25.

“We played well in the first game, but our errors hurt us in the second game and we couldn’t seem to gain any momentum back.  The team worked hard and never gave up, but we came up short in the final game.  We need to work on our serving in particular for our next matches,” coach Donna Carhill said.

Kenna Marquart had a perfect night serving at 13/13 and had seven kills. Emily Heupel was 16/17 with one ace and Hannah Promes was 10/11 serving with 30 assists and 13 digs.
