The Jefferson, IA app for smartphones is now live and can be downloaded free from the App Store. The app is compatible for iPhone and Android phones.
Jefferson Matters: Main Street and Chamber of Commerce have been collaborating on the app since early in 2016.
The Jefferson, IA app is a place for area residents and visitors to connect with restaurants, entertainment opportunities, retail/ services, and a variety of events happening in our area. Because our city of Jefferson is the perfect combination of the past and the present, this app is an effort to showcase and promote all that Jefferson has to offer.
The app was populated by Deb McGinn of Jefferson Matters and Angie Pedersen, who was the Chamber’s tourism and events coordinator when the project began.
Users are encouraged to rate and leave comments on the app.
