The school year hasn’t yet started, but seniors and their families may already be looking ahead to May graduation.
For the past several years, all the county high schools have had their commencement exercises on the same day at the same time. That won’t be the case in 2017.
The Greene County board of education in April approved a school calendar with commencement Sunday, May 28. That’s a week later than in recent years.
The Paton-Churdan board at its July meeting approved Saturday, May 20, as the date for commencement. That’s a day earlier than usual.
