In Greene County district court Jacob Eugene Day, 24, of Jefferson was sentenced Feb. 18 to two years in prison after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. The prison term was suspended and he was placed on probation for two years. He was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge. He must also pay $90 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Adria A. Kester)
Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Tobi Ann Baker, 45, of Jefferson has been charged with theft-second degree and operating without owner’s consent. The case was initiated Jan. 14.
Cases were initiated recently as follows: Krieger’s Greenhouse of Jefferson, discharge of a pollutant into a water of the state (incident from Sept. 2012); and Nathan Allen Zollars, 32, of Dana, domestic abuse assault- class D felony.
