In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered July 6 against Beth Anne Laurent of Jefferson on a charge of assault-simple, amended from domestic abuse assault- first offense. Laurent was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $5 county surcharge. Court costs were $145. (Magistrate David Morain)
