The Greene County High School Special Olympic team can boast that all teammates received a first in at least one division at the North Central Area’s track and field competition at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge last week.
Finishers were as follows:
- Ian Jensen: Standing long jump and mini javelin, first place
- Nick Walsh (men’s division): Shot put and standing long jump, first place
- Kelly Martin: standing long jump, first place, and softball throw, third place
- Tosha Harvey: Standing long jump, first place, and mini javelin, second place
Everyone with a first place will compete at the Iowa Special Olympics May 20 at Iowa State University. ~The Scranton Journal
