Fareway, Hormel donate hams to ARC, Manna Ministries

Fareway Stores, Inc., in partnership with Hormel, provided a donation of more than 80 Cure 81® boneless hams to the Action Resource Center (ARC) food pantry and Manna Ministries in Jefferson. The contribution is part of a nationwide Hams for Hunger campaign that aims to provide charitable organizations with a holiday favorite during the season.

“We are proud to partner with Hormel on this great cause and honored to donate to both the ARC and Manna Ministries in Jefferson,” said Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “Our commitment is to helping provide nutritious meals to those in need this holiday season.”

“Fareway is a strong supporter of the Hormel Cure 81® Hams for Hunger program,” said Lisa Kallembach, Hormel Food Sales, LLC. “We are making a difference in the fight against hunger by providing community food donations where they’re needed most.”

The local hunger relief effort Hams for Hunger pairs Hormel with grocery stores in all 50 states to donate premium Cure 81® hams to those in need. More than $12 million dollars in hams have been donated since the program’s inception. Hormel ham donation
