Beta Tau Delta, an organization that has provided support for Greene County youth for more than nine decades, has responded to Teresa Lansman’s appeal for assistance with the Greene County Toys for Tots program.
Beta Tau Delta treasurer Anita Van Horn (left) presented a $400 contribution to Lansman of New Opportunities (right) to assist with providing toys and a merrier Christmas for more than 300 area children.
Through fundraisers like the Virtual Charity Ball, Beta Tau Delta is able to respond to immediate and often critical needs of youth in Greene County. Medical assistance, clothing, various sports programs, scholarships, and a variety of other youth programs and projects have received funding assistance from the organization.
Information about this year’s Virtual Charity Ball, “A Bahama Beach Christmas” is avaiable at various downtown Jefferson businesses including Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts, The Printer’s Box, Royal Jewelers, and Ben Franklin.
