Rippey will host many hardy riders who are part of the BRR ride from Perry to Rippey and back on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Roast beef sundaes and more will be served by the Rippey Lions Club at the Library/Community Building and the youth group will provide a baked potato bar and homemade pie. There will also be a beer tent sponsored by the volunteer fire department. Bikers and others will stay in Rippey for awhile before returning to Perry for more BRR
events.
The first weekend in February marks the beginning of the biking season for many bikers from Iowa and beyond. The Bike Ride to Rippey is an annual event of the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
