Greene County magistrate court, week ending Oct. 16

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Oct. 14 against Janon Lezlie Olson Buttler of Jefferson on two counts of theft-fifth degree. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge on each charge. She must also pay a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge and $60 court costs.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Oct. 16 as follows: Freedom Hope Ore of Jefferson, disorderly conduct and trespass; and Jesse Dean Lair of Jefferson, public intoxication.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Oct. 16 as follows: Austin Morgen Longnecker of Boone, failure to display registration plate, $20; Lexie Rae Crimmins of Fort Dodge, failure to maintain control, $115; Ryan Eric Bygness of Denison, dark window/windshield, $50; Aaron Joseph Lyons of Grand Junction, operation without registration, $50; and Luis A. Marin-Barrono of Carroll, speed, $115.

Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): Janiece Kay Barringer of Rockwell City, Richard Kenneth Anderson of Elk Horn, Jody Lynn Wittry of Glidden, Aaron Moses Collazo of Eagle Pass, TX, *Madeline Lynn Pate of Templeton, *Miles William Bach of West Des Moines, *Laura Victoria Carroll of Cary, NC, and Carole Ann Brown of Fontanelle.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): *Angela Mae Fox of Jefferson, Janice Katherine Knobbe of Auburn, Brittany Marie Miller of Perry, Rosemary Irene Behrens, Karen Kay Boell and Travis Robert Mollhoff, all of Carroll, Elizabeth Marie Scheuermann of Jefferson, and Curtis Ray Waddingham of Adel.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: Jacob Alan Bendickson of Panora, spilling load on highway, failure to secure load, $50; and Larry Lee Hughes of Scranton, overweight ale by 1100 lbs, $22.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Jacob Allen Sands of Jefferson, careless driving, $35; Ramon Sandoval Ruiz of Denison, speed, $96, and no valid driver’s license, $200; Diego Manuel Diaz of Carroll, open container of alcohol in vehicle, $200; Loren Davante Burnett of Carroll, possession of alcohol under age, $200; *Shannon Michael Meyer of Ralston, speed, $40; and Michael Alexander Carlson of Jefferson, failure to have valid license while operating, paid $30 of fine, judgment entered for remaining $170 of fine and $70 surcharge.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
