First year FFA members from Greene County High School attended the annual Greenhand Fire-Up conference Oct. 14 in Atlantic.
The conference introduces students to the purpose of the FFA organization and the many opportunities which it offers. First year members were *picture, from left) Garrett McDowell, Brock Badger, Travis Gierstorf, Serenity Blair, Kara Reed, Gina Brown and Serenity Blair. Wade Wuebker (center), Greene County FFA chapter president and state FFA southwest district treasurer, was also in attendance helping with the event as part of his state officer duties.
