In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Trent Daniel Robinson of Guthrie Center on a charge of theft-fifth degree. Robinson was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. He must also pay a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, restitution to be determined, and $60 court costs.
Terry Duane Straube of Selma was sentenced to time served on a charge of public intoxication. He must pay $48 sheriff’s fees and $60 court costs.
Cases were initiated recently as follows: Christopher Hollis Christian of Grand Junction, theft-fifth degree and in a separate case possession of drug paraphernalia; Clay Thomas Paulson of Grand Junction, supplying alcohol to person under age (two counts); Patrick Michael Kennedy of Jefferson, assault; Nicholas Anthony Balderas of Ames, public intoxication; Jody Lyn Schad of Jefferson, theft-fifth degree; Rowdy Lee Renwanz of Gowrie, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Michelle A. Christian of Grand Junction, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Oct. 2 as follows: Stephanie Jo Redwine of Carroll, dark window/windshield, $50; Louis Hastings Walsh Jr of Carroll, unsafe stopping, $35; and Elle Jane Parker of Jefferson, violation of instruction permit limitation, $50.
