The Greene County High School junior class will host a chili supper Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the Elks lodge in Jefferson. The Ram girls and boys basketball teams will host South Hamilton in the Greene County Middle School gym that evening. The girls game, including Pink Out activities, will begin at 6 pm.
Serving time for the chili supper is 5 to 7 pm. The meal includes a bowl of chili, crackers, relishes, pie or dessert, and milk or coffee. Tickets are $6.00 each for ages 6 and above; 5 and under eat free. Chili refills are $1 and milk refills are $.50.
Tickets may be purchased from any junior, at the door, or by calling the high school office at 515-386-2188.
All proceeds from the junior class chili supper will go toward the 2014 prom, which has an “Under the Sea” theme.
