The Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower begins its regular season this weekend. The Bell Tower will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm every weekend in May.
To celebrate the new season, the first 25 adults who visit this weekend will receive a coupon for a free packet of Greene Bean Coffee’s own Bell Tower Blend coffee. The coupons will be redeemable at Greene Bean Coffee, one block north of the Bell Tower.
New in 2015 is a season pass for unlimited visits to the top of the Bell Tower this summer and fall. “The view from the top is different every day, and we want to make it easy for area residents to enjoy that,” a spokesperson said.
