The Greene County High School chapter of National Honor Society is raising funds the coming two Friday nights.
This Friday, Nov. 7, the chapter is hosting a potato bar supper from 5 to 7:15 pm in the high school cafeteria. The supper precedes the music department’s production of “The Music Man.” Tickets for the supper are $6 and are available from NHS members or at the door. Tickets can also be purchased with tickets for the musical at Home State Bank and Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in Jefferson.
The following Friday, Nov. 14, NHS members will host a dance for students in grades 6-8 from 8 to 10:30 pm at the Webb House. There will be a $3 admission charge, with all proceeds going to Lots of Socks, a project of RSVP 55+ to provide socks and other items for students in need.
