Hannah Gunn and Karlan Langfitt will preside over Greene County High School homecoming festivities Friday as queen and king. They were crowned by 2013 queen Shelby Cooklin and king Karter Ruzicka at a coronation in the middle school gym.
The parade is slated for Friday afternoon at 2 pm around the courthouse square in Jefferson. The Ram football team will take on the Humboldt Wildcats at 7:30 pm at Linduska Field.
The coronation followed the traditional jersey auction and pep rally. Auctioneer Dale Higgins finished the evening auctioning off a volleyball and football signed by the respective teams, a cross-county poster signed by the team, and a band T-shirt signed by the entire marching band. Hannah Gunn started the evening in her cheerleading uniform. She is pictured with the volleyball.
The audience was also treated to a cheer dance by the Ram cheerleaders.
