Candidates for the Jefferson city council and the Greene County Schools board of education have agreed to participate in candidate forums in Jefferson Oct. 13 and Oct. 21.
City council candidates will be featured Monday, Oct. 13, at 7 pm at the Greene County elementary school cafeteria. All council candidates – Harry Ahrenholtz, Sue Bose, Eric Carlson, Paul “Skeeter” Hostetler, Darren Jackson and Luke Winkelman – have been invited to participate.
School board candidates will have the floor Tuesday, Oct. 21, also at 7 pm at the elementary school cafeteria. Candidates Nicole Chisum, Cindi Daubendiek, Jeremiah Goughnour, Scott Graham, Megan Holz, Spencer Kirk and Katie Nelson have been invited.
Candidates will introduce themselves and then answer questions from attendees.
Retired Bee & Herald publisher Rick Morain will serve as moderator.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The candidate forums are sponsored as a community service by the Rotary Club of Jefferson. The club has no political or partisan affiliation.
