Iowa DCI is investigating
Greene County sheriff Jack Williams reports that a fatal officer-involved shooting occurred Saturday, Sept. 6, on T Ave just north of Highway 30, one mile west of Grand Junction.
Williams reports the Greene County sheriff’s office was assisting the Boone Police Department and the Boone County sheriff’s office with a pursuit on Highway 30. The driver came to a stop on T Avenue. An officer involved shooting occurred and one male subject was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation is investigating.
