The Rotary Club of Jefferson recently awarded $1,000 in grant funds to the 144 Corridor Housing Initiative. The funds come from the proceeds of the club’s 2024 annual charity auction.
According to 144CHI president Alan Robinson, the funds will toward the group’s ongoing assistance to property owners to raze unsafe, un-fixable structures in Dana, Grand Junction and Rippey. Owners of the structures cover 25 percent of the cost of demolition and clean-up.
