Free breakfast and lunch will be available through Greene County Schools for all Greene County children ages 18 and younger from Monday, June 2, through Friday, July 25. Students must be present when picking up meals.
Four meal sites will provide meals as follows:
Greene County Elementary School in Jefferson, Monday-Friday: Lunch, served from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Breakfast in June, dine in from 8:30 to 9 pm at the school. Breakfast in July, grab & go sent home with the previous day’s lunch. For example, Tuesday’s breakfast will be sent home with children after lunch Monday.
Meals for Saturday and Sunday will be sent home Friday. There will be meals served Friday, July 4; meals will be sent home July 3.
Grand Junction Community Center, Monday-Friday: Lunch served from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Breakfast, grab & go, sent home with the previous day’s lunch.

Rippey Library and Scranton Community Center, all meals grab & go. Monday from 11:15 to 11:35 am, children take home three breakfast meals and three lunch meals each. Thursday from 11:15 to 11:35, children take home four breakfast meals and four lunch meals each (to include Saturday and Sunday meals). All grab and go meals will include instructions for heating/cooling requirements.
The meals are funded by the USDA Food & Nutrition Service.
