Friends of the Library spring book sale April 10-12

The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library will kick off spring with the annual spring book sale. The sale opens Thursday, April 10, and runs through Saturday, April 12. With free admission and prices ranging from just 25¢ to $2, there’s no better time to stock up for summer reading. Plus, the Friends are now able to accept online payment options via QR code scanning.  

“Whether you’re searching for the perfect story to ignite your children’s imagination or a gripping novel to lose yourself in, our sale has something for everyone,” a Friends spokesperson said. “Find a treasure trove of books across every genre imaginable—mysteries, romance, westerns, science fiction, fantasy, and the timeless classics.”

Both regular and large print books will be available, ensuring every reader can find their next page turner. 

Beyond the expansive book collection, shoppers can explore a wide assortment of movies on DVD, books on CD, music CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and board games. “These entertaining options are perfect for cozy family nights or solo relaxation during the warm months ahead,” the spokesperson said. 

Every purchase directly supports the Jefferson public library, allowing the Friends and library staff to enhance resources and services for the entire community. “This annual fundraiser is a wonderful way to give back while indulging in the joy of reading. Help us continue to be a beacon of knowledge and entertainment for all,” the spokesperson said. 

The sale will be in the library basement during regular hours:  Thursday 9 am- 7 pm; Friday 1- 5:30 pm; and Saturday 9 am – 1 pm.
