The Rotary Club of Jefferson is now accepting applications for grants from the proceeds of its 26th annual charity auction. This year the club will give priority in its grants on three of Rotary International’s areas of focus: the health of women and children; peace and conflict resolution; and literacy. Non-profit organizations or entities whose programs or projects benefit others may apply.

Additionally, applicants may also choose to write grants for other areas of focus: clean water; community and economic development; disease prevention and treatment; and the environment.
In the past, the club has directed proceeds from its annual charity auction to worthy non-profit organizations and projects throughout Greene County. More than $500,000 has been aimed at helping local schools, libraries, community organizations and other entities make improvements and services that benefit our county’s quality of life.
These grants are possible because of the generous support of many individual and business donors and supporters in the community that contribute year after year to the success of Rotary’s annual auction. Without such generosity these grants would not be possible. The auction not only raises needed funds for worthy projects but is also an evening of fun, fellowship and entertainment. The club is grateful for the support of the community.
Applications must be postmarked or emailed by Friday, March 28, 2025, for consideration. Applications, policies and guidelines may be obtained online at www.jeffersonrotary.org or at Royal Jewelers, 112 N. Wilson, Jefferson during business hours.
