There is no better way to end your regular season slate of action than with a win as the postseason is set to begin.
The Greene County Rams girls and boys bowling teams welcomed the Carroll Tigers to Spare Time Lanes and Lounge in Jefferson Feb. 13 for the last regular season meet of the year. The girls earned a win 1,845 pins to 1,800 pins, and the boys earned a win 2,919 pins to 2,753 pins.
Allison Fields took the high game for the girls with 174, Shelby Finley had a 138, Rozella Helms had a 136, Alivia Cornell had a 124, Trinity Hull had a 101, and Hayleigh Rivera had an 87. Fields had the most pins at the meet with 331, Finley had 243, Cornell had 238, Helms had 237, Hull had 199, and Rivera had 164.
Tegan Chisholm had the high game for the Rams with a 221, Jacob Rumley had a 212, Chase Fecher had a 198, Lane Fields had a 196, Trystan Cummings had an 182, and Ryan Bills had a 180. Chisholm took the most pins for the Rams with 415, Rumley and Fields had 387 apiece, Fecher had 381, Cummings had 351, and Bills had 321. With the conclusion of the regular season for both Ram bowling teams, all that was left was the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 1A State Qualifying Meet that was expected to be held on Monday at Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs.
