Greene County and all surrounding counties are in an extreme cold warning from 9 pm Monday thru 12 pm Tuesday. The National Weather Service warns that north winds of 5-15 mph combined with temperatures well below zero will result in extreme wind chill values of -25 to -40 degrees. This can lead to frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Wind chill values in Carroll Tuesday are predicted to be -34 at 6 am, -23 at 12 pm, and -20 at 6 pm.

Wind chill values do not improve until Friday. Wind chill values Wednesday are predicted to be -28 at 6 am, -22 at 12 pm, and -27 at 6 pm. Wind chill values Thursday are predicted to be -33 at 6 am, -14 at 12 pm, and -15 at 6 pm.
Wind chill values are not predicted to be above 0 degrees until Saturday at noon.
