Dog lovers and bakers are invited to the PAWSome Pastry Academy Saturday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 pm in the culinary kitchen at the Greene County Career Academy in Jefferson.
Attendees will learn to bake and decorate dog treats for their favorite canines. All necessary ingredients and baking tools will be provided, along with step-by-step instruction from an experienced treat baker. Attendees will take home a goodie bag, dough ready for baking, and their decorated treats, as well as complimentary recipe cards for recreating treats at home.
Cost of the class is $35, with all proceeds going to PAWS of Greene County. Persons can register by emailing a.lewman@yahoo.com. Payment is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable unless PAWS cancels the class.
All participants must be 16 years or older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. There is a maximum of 12 participants in the Feb. 22 class, but additional classes may be scheduled if there is enough interest.
