The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of the southeast half of Iowa and a winter storm watch for areas to the north of that area. Greene County is in a winter storm watch, although Guthrie County to the south and Boone county to the east are included in the warning.
Greene County is predicted to receive four or more inches of snow. Snowfall is predicted to start between 12 and 3 am Wednesday and end Wednesday night.
Motorists are advised to check road and weather conditions before leaving home.
