Streaming services have rapidly become the go-to way for many households to enjoy their favorite shows, movies, and live events. As the popularity of streaming grows, Jefferson Telecom is stepping up to help community members understand the basics and make the most of this modern technology. The company is excited to announce two upcoming free classes, “Streaming 101,” designed to educate attendees on the essentials of streaming and how to get started.
The classes will be held at Jefferson Telecom on the following dates: Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 9 to 10:30 am; and Thursday, Feb. 13, from 3 to 4:30 pm.
These informative sessions, taught by Jefferson Telecom employees Lindy Lehman and Daniel Rohner, are for anyone who wants to learn how to navigate streaming services, choose the right platform, and discover tips for improving their streaming experience. “Streaming is becoming a way of life for many households,” said Jamie Daubendiek, general manager of Jefferson Telecom. “We want to ensure that our community members feel confident and empowered to make the most of the technology available to them. Offering these classes is just one way we can support and educate our community.”
Class sizes are limited, so community members are encouraged to reserve their spot by calling 515-386-4141, option #3 or email info@jeffersontelecom.com. Jefferson Telecom staff will guide attendees’ step by step through the basics of streaming, answer questions, and provide actionable advice for transitioning to streaming services.
