Dr Ryan Van Gilder, a 2001 Jefferson-Scranton graduate and now a professor of trombone and jazz studies at Colorado State University, will be featured soloist with the Greene County High School jazz band Monday, Jan. 6, at 6:30 pm in the high school auditorium.
Van Gilder will provide jazz instruction to jazz band members as well. The public is cordially invited to attend the free concert.
Van Gilder’s time in Jefferson is supported financially by former East Greene jazz band member and Bett & Bev’s chef/owner Adam Glawe.
