Greene County magistrate court, week ending Dec. 20

In Greene County magistrate court Joseph Edward Blackmon of Jefferson was sentenced Dec. 18 to five days in jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of interference with official acts. The jail term was suspended and he was placed on unsupervised probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. He must complete an in-person assaultive behavior course. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. He must also pay $664.07 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $142.40 court costs.

A judgment for a $105 fine with a $15.75 surcharge was entered against Tracy L. Straight of Ralston on a charge of public intoxication. Court costs were $60.

Bobby Lee Hunt of Churdan was sentenced to seven days in jail on a charge of violation of a no contact order. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. No court costs were listed.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Jamie Skylar Wade of Grand Junction, disorderly conduct- fighting/violent behavior; and Elaine M. Norgart of Pisgah, violation of a protective order.
