Extension plans Ag Coffee for Dec. 13

Greene County Extension & Outreach is hosting a series of Ag Coffee events, bringing farmers and other agricultural professionals together for an informal discussion on current Ag topics.

The first ag coffee program is slated for Friday, Dec. 13, from 9:30 to 11 am, at the Greene County Extension office meeting room. December’s topic will be the market outlook, presented by Alexis Stevens, ISU farm management specialist. “With the new year fast approaching it’s time to start thinking about plans for next year’s crop. We will look at market signals for both old and new crop so we can be informed and profitable in 2025,” Stevens said.  “See how weather, world events, and politics can affect your bottom line.”

This December meeting is sponsored by Peoples Bank. Persons who want more information can call the Greene County Extension office at 515-386-2138.
